How the heck do you research hipsters?! They don't call themselves hipsters, so, unlike fangirls, they don't have any essays or papers they've written about their subculture, because they deny they're even involved in a subculture (too mainstream). Articles online are entirely unhelpful, all they do is run on stereotypes or bash hipsters, there isn't any impartial research. You can't know about hipsters unless you are a hipster, and even then, you don't identify as a hipster, because then you are no longer a hipster. Like, good god, people. They're like freaking unicorns for writers.
